We love the original Foundation Quarter Horses. The ones that are up for anything and still have plenty of bone strength and breed-typical musculature.

We think the combination of the very old lines (Captain still has Poco Bueno on paper) with the versatile Hancock line is a Golden Cross. Absolutely cool, friendly horses that perform all their tasks with bravura and enthusiasm. Not specialists, but real all-rounders who give their people a lot of pleasure in every respect. But the combination with the proven old reining lines also produces very good horses

We attach great importance to balance, strength of character, reliability and of course the most important thing: health! A stable foundation, large hooves and strong muscling typical of the breed are essential. All this can only be achieved by deliberate and targeted mating with parents who have the same characteristics and by keeping and rearing the foals in a manner appropriate to the horse, with a great deal of trust and expertise.

Our foals get to know people as trustworthy beings from the moment they take their first breath. We train them with a lot of patience, teach them to trust and they also see from the adults that people always mean good things.

We breed Quarter Horses with a very high proportion of foundation blood and old lines with great passion. Through Captain especially Poco Bueno and Joe Hancock. These lines are characterized by their robustness, friendliness, health and versatility. It is also important to us that the high blood percentages are not the result of recurring matings and thus strong inbreeding/line breeding, but of horses that still have these old sires close to/on paper.

We pay great attention to quality and health and carefully select our breeding horses to ensure that they meet our strict requirements. We strive for offspring with excellent conformation, a strong foundation, good health and a friendly, balanced nature.

Our horses must be versatile and easy to handle and work for everyone. In addition to character and health, perfect breeding is also very important to us. Our foals are reared in a loving and familiar environment directly on our premises. Species-appropriate husbandry, balanced nutrition and early socialization are very important to us in order to ensure healthy and well-adapted horses.

Class instead of quantity!

We only have a very small number of foals each year in order to have enough time for the little ones. The foals get to know humans as partners from the very first minute and enjoy working with them. We want them to be as well prepared as possible for their future life with their human, so a lot of time and effort is invested in finding a partner for life.
