Welcome to our homepage! We are a family of horses who live our passion for Quarter Horses with all our hearts. We have been bitten by the "Quarter virus" since our earliest years and have been breeding with joy and dedication ever since. Our focus is not only on the quality of the horses, but also on the well-being and health of our "gold pieces".
Our horses - more than just animals
For us, our horses are not just breeding animals, but above all family members. At the center of our breeding is Captain Blue Sparrow, our pride and joy, who accompanies us in all areas. But our mares Ruby (Wonderful Tonight), Blue (Sweet Blue Girl) and Lou (Spooks Gotta Roan) are also a big part of our family and play an important role in ensuring that we are happy and dedicated to our work every day.
As horse owners, we attach great importance to the health of our animals. After all, nobody wants to have a sick horse in their stable. Of course, something can always happen, especially with horses. But we do everything we can to eliminate the genetic component as far as possible and do everything we can to ensure that our horses remain vital and healthy.
Balanced breeding for the right partner
We are proud that we do not have to make a living from breeding. This freedom allows us to carefully select the future owners of our foals. It is important to us that humans and horses harmonize - if the chemistry is not right, neither will be happy. Our horses are made for people who want to spend their free time with a versatile, balanced partner. They are not "specialist idiots", but horses that are up for anything: Whether reining, ranch riding, cutting or simply taking a break for a month and then enjoying a relaxed stroll in the countryside on a calm horse - they are uncomplicated, people-oriented and fun for everyone.
Trust, relaxation and positive reinforcement
A particular highlight of our breed is the unshakeable character of our horses. It fills us with joy that some of our horses are already being used in therapy. There they prove their great trust and reliability in dealing with people on a daily basis. This not only gives us a good feeling, but also confirms that we are on the right track.
Our work with horses is based on the fundamental principle of positive reinforcement. It is important to us that our animals can learn and develop in a stress-free and calm environment. We do not take ourselves too seriously, but also allow our mares to pass on their experiences to the foals. In this way, the little ones learn along the way that new things such as the horse trailer or the water hose are not a danger, but something positive.
For us, our Quarter Horses are not just a hobby, but a way of life. We are proud of the development of our breeding and the positive results we have been able to achieve in recent years. Every horse that leaves our farm carries our values: trust, balance and a close bond with people.
