Patty, as we affectionately call her, is a real pirate baby who was born in our stable. As the offspring of our Ruby Wonderful Tonight and Captain Blue Sparrow, she has had a special story since birth.
Patty had to overcome a major challenge early on. At the tender age of only three months, she injured her radial nerve. It was a difficult time, but this is where her incredible character really shone through. With admirable patience and deep trust in us, she overcame every hurdle. Whether it was the necessary therapies or even hoof care while lying down, Patty went along with everything without complaint and touched us with her inner calm. She showed us what an incredible character she has, a pirate through and through. Fortunately, the nerve has healed completely and Patty is developing splendidly.
As our 'Red's' best friend, she is now enjoying her youth carefree. Time will tell which path Patty will take and whether she will enrich us with her own offspring in the future.
